Toad makes an early appearance – Spring 08

Is he watching us or are we watching him?

Last weekend we spotted a toad taking in the early Spring sunlight. His warty skin creating a strong constrast to the fresh grass at the edge of the narrow footpath.

By the way, have you seen the competition that the RSPB is running at the moment – Love Nature.  Its worth checking out to see the breathtaking photos of very talented photographers capturing their favour moments in nature, when they felt at one with the environment.  The photos are quite spectacular.
